I think it is great ideology that you guys have! In the UK they just teach children to pass, not fully appreciating the subjects that they are learning. This gives children a very shallow understanding of things. Also, they get the shock of their lives when they have to go to university as the kids have to teach themselves i.e. have a subject that they are passionate about to want to learn about it. I wish all countries can adopt the Finnish model!!!
